Ipod Touch email

I have read all these posts about setting up email on my son's new ipod touch and even corresponded via email with zoobuh but can't get the mail to work. I keep getting this message "the mail server 'pop.zoobuh.com' is not responding. verify that you have entered the correct account info in mail settings." i have verified spelling and followed the instructions on how to set up the account but still can't make this work. any ideas?

If you have made sure the port is 110 and SSL is disabled. There's one thing you can do is remove the account under settings and re-add it.

If this doesn't work, then it may be part of an issue we are currently working on. It doesn't seem to be set to any specific device, although we see it most commonly on the iPod touch.

Some tests have indicated that if the account was set up with SSL enabled, then disabled later, it prevents it from working. Although that isn't 100%.

I suggest removing the account all together from the ipod and re-adding it.

One other thing to try. Log into the website first with your child's account. Check the inbox. Then try the device.
